This year the Festival will be celebrating its 60th consecutive edition with the same enthusiasm felt the day it first saw the light on September 21st 1953. [+]
A specific jury grants the "Serbitzu Saria" Award to the best Basque production presented in world premiere in any section of the Festival.
The “Serbitzu Saria” Award is open to not-yet-released feature films presented in any section with at least 51% of Basque production.
The prize carries €20,000, gross, for the producer or producers of the winning film.
The Award is sponsored by Serbitzu Elkartea.
