Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Claudia Calviño (Havana) is an independent film producer from Cuba. She was a partner of the company Producciones de la 5ta Avenida until 2019, and in 2020 founded Cacha Films.
Her credits as a producer and executive producer include films such as Juan de los muertos (Juan of the Dead, 2011), directed by Alejandro Brugués and winner of the Goya for Best Ibero-American Film in 2013; Melaza (Molasses, 2013) and Santa y Andrés (Santa & Andrés, Horizontes Latinos, 2016), both directed by Carlos Lechuga. In 2018 she co-produced the films Yuli, by Icíar Bollaín, about the life of the Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta, winner of the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay in San Sebastian; and El viaje extraordinario de Celeste García (The Extraordinary Journey of Celeste García), by Arturo Infante.
She has also participated in the production of the documentaries Habana muda (2011), by the French director Eric Brach; Hotel Nueva Isla (2013), by Irene Gutiérrez and Javier Labrador; and A media voz (2019), by Patricia Pérez and Heidi Hassan, premiered in the official competition of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), where it landed the Award for Best Feature-length Documentary.
Since 2022, she has been living between Havana and Barcelona, working at The Mediapro Studio. This year sees the premiere of Vicenta B (Horizontes Latinos), her third film with the Cuban director Carlos Lechuga.
