The sessions will include a presentation followed by a discussion. However, as a new feature this year, it will be the students from the different centres in Gipuzkoa who will, from the second session on, take charge of making the presentations with the help of an expert in the subject. Here the goal is to ensure that students improve their ability to debate and develop new ways of approaching subjects from the angle of critical thinking. The idea is that our young people develop skills including teamwork and the capacity to communicate. The themes dealt with are subjects that they may come across in their professional lives, such as technology, innovation or the need for critical thinking, among others.

This collaboration between Orona Fundazioa and the San Sebastian Festival has the goal of developing the environment that encompasses placing value on concepts such as culture, innovation, technology, education and collaboration. An agreement not only materialised in the activity at hand today, but which also plays an important part in the International Film Students Meeting, where a specific jury made up of students at the Mondragon University (HUHEZI) and at ESCIVI (Andoain Film and Video School), coordinated by a teacher from HUHEZI, Mondragon University, and chaired by the Director of Development at Orona Fundazioa, present the Orona Award with its 5,000 euros to the most innovative short film at the Meeting.
